CHRM Board Chairman

Dr. Amani Y. Komora is an HR Professional of many years with experience that straddles both in the Public and Private Sectors and the current Board Chairman of the College of Human Resource Management.

Currently serving as the General Manager, HR and Administration at the Kenya Ports Authority. Prior, worked at Kenya Revenue Authority, rising through the ranks from a Management Trainee to the position of Assistant Commissioner- HR and later to Senior Asst. Commissioner- Programs. Was HR Manager at the Kenya Anti Corruption Commission (now Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission) for 7 years.

An active member of the IHRM, served as member of the Executive Committee of the IHRM Coast Branch and in 2014, was elected as member of the IHRM Governing Council under the new HRP Act of 2012.

A principled and highly self driven individual with good interpersonal skills and a great team player.

CPA Stephine Opiyo Obong’o

Holder of MBA – HRM (UON), Certified Human Resource professional – CHRP (K), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA - Maseno) – Accounting Majors (1st Class Hons), CPA (K), Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (HDHRM) and an ongoing PhD Student in Business Administration (UON) .

He is currently a Member of the Board of College of Human Resource Management (CHRM), He has a working experience spanning over ten years both in a manufacturing set up at EABL and experience from three leading Financial Institutions in Kenya, Barclays Bank and Kenya Commercial Bank in operations. He is currently the Head, Employee Relations & Wellness at National Bank of Kenya. He is an expert in Research, Statistics, Business Performance & Analytics (Finance), Human Resource Metrics & Analytics, Corporate Training and Corporate Governance.

 

Mr. Obong’o is a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPACK), a Certified Practitioner and Member of The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya. He is also a Lecturer at The College of Human Resource Management and a Part Time Lecturer at The University of Nairobi and JKUAT.

Mr. Raimond Saya Molenje

Currently: Head of Legal, Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Kenya Bankers Association. Formerly HR Manager at De La Rue Currency and Security Print.  Previously worked as the HR Manager-Employee Relations at Equity Bank Group; Legal Manager at Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE); Legal Counsel at Rural Electrification Authority (REA); 7 Years in private practice as a Litigation & Corporate Advocate. He started his professional journey 14 years ago in Legal Practice at Law Firms as well as House Counsel.

Member of Law Society of Kenya; Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; CHRM Board Member 2017-2020;

Areas of Expertise:  Legal Representation in Labor and Employment Matters; Union Management & Legislation; Human Capital Consultancy & Training;

Mr. Daniel T. Timoi

CHRP(K) Daniel T. Timoi - MHRM(OUT), Diploma HRM(KIM),BED(CUEA).

 

Mr. Timoi is a Doctoral Finalist Leadership and Governance (Kisii University) and a Certified Human Resource Consultant. He is currently Head of Human Resources Management for the Kajiado County Assembly. 

He is a Member of the CHRM College Board 2016-2019. Vice chair, BOM Loodokilani High School 2016-1019 and a Member at IHRM. 

He successfully attaned his certification in CHRP(K) by undertaking the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) program.

His areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Development of HR Policies as well as Training Needs and Development function.

Areas of interest include Lecturing. Consultancyand Organisational Governance and Leadership.
