Course Overview

The Computer Packages Course is a foundational program designed to equip learners with essential computer skills needed for academic, professional, and personal use. This course introduces participants to a variety of software applications and basic computer operations, enabling them to confidently use computers in different contexts. It is ideal for beginners or those looking to build their digital literacy from the ground up.

Eligibility Requirements

Entry Qualifications
  • This is an open entry program that does require any formal qualification but ideally the applicant should have a KCSE certificate
  • Registration with CHRM College

Computer packages offer foundational and critical knowledge that is applicable in all fields and careers 

 

The open entry nature of the program means the course offers the learners a basic approach to understanding and using computers.

Course Certification

A candidate will be issued with a Certificate of Competency on demonstration of competence in a unit of competency.

  • Evening (6.30 am - 8.30 am, 11.30 am – 2.00 pm, 2.30 pm – 5.00pm, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm, 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm)

  • Duly filled Registration and/or Examination forms.
  • Certified copies of certificates
  • Copies of identification document e.g. ID card, Passport, Waiting Slip or Birth Certificate
  • 2 Passport size photograph
  • Legal documents such as Marriage Certificates supporting change of names where applicable
