Alumni are a vital element of any organization. They provide students with a wealth of opportunities. CHRM College is one of the few colleges with an active Alumni Association. The CHRM College Alumni Association (CHRMAA) was established to link alumni with the college and with one another. The association also aims to provide beneficial services to members while supporting the college’s mission.

Since its inception, CHRMAA has conducted a number of events that have provided an excellent opportunity for its members to network. The most recent event took place in May 5, 2023, the HR Night was an event that brought together various HR practitioners from across the country. The night was packed with exciting activities and provided an excellent chance for CHRMAA to launch its three-year strategic plan and its newly designed website.

Among those who attended were the Key Note Speaker, Dr. Amani Yuda Komora, PHD, MBS, CHRP, Vice Chairperson, Salaries and Remuneration Commission, Guest Speaker, madam Jane Wairimu, CHRP Margret K. Among the presenters was CHRP Margret K. Kinyanjiui, principal of CHRM College, who gave an overview of the programs offered at the college as well as the college’s expansion, which has resulted in the introduction of additional courses. She emphasized the college’s commitment to providing an exceptional learning experience and the high-quality trainings. Margaret pointed out a great opportunity where you are awarded 5% finder’s fee anytime you refer someone to the college. She encouraged the guests to register and refer friends.

The chair of CHRMAA, Mr. Godrick Arthur Itur, explained why it was vital for them to produce a three-year strategic plan because it clearly outlines the organization’s commitment to providing its members with opportunities to network and collaborate as well as opportunities to flourish in their professions.

“To this end, we are launching our new Alumni Website, which will serve as a hub for all alumni-related activities, including news, events, job opportunities, and a range of online resources. We are confident that this website will be a useful tool for our members, giving them access to information and helping to keep them up to date on the newest trends and advancements in the HR industry.” Stated Mr. Godrick Arhur Itur
