Robert is an Organizational / institutional development, Management, Human Resource Management and Capacity building expert as well as Governance and Leadership consultant. A consummate professional who has worked in top level management and leadership roles in Public, Private and NGO sectors developing policies and programmes focusing on Organizational Design and Development, strategy formulation and development, Systems strengthening, Organisational Capacity Assessment (OCA), staff productivity management, capacity development, developing of Staffing Models, Work Load Analysis and Full Time Equivalent (FTE) modeling, Optimal staffing, Job evaluations, development of performance management frameworks /tools, Salary and Grading Structure development, reviews and surveys, Balanced Score card, Strategic Planning and review for various Government Ministries, State Corporations, private sector institutions, Co-operative societies, Research institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations.
Robert has Extensive hands on experience spanning over thirty years of work in diverse sectors including Tourism and Hotel, Petroleum and Oil, Heavy Construction and Mining equipment sales and service as well as metallic mineral resources mining operations and Manufacturing within the East and West African Region as well as consultancy assignments locally and abroad.
He is driven by the desire to impact on society through professional, prudent, ethical and evidence based contributions in management and leadership principles. Robert has previously served in two governing Councils of IHRM and is among the very first to be awarded Fellow Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management. He is currently serving in the IHRM Board of Fellows as a board member.
Other than being the owner and CEO of SKYBRIDGE HUMAN CAPITAL SOLUTIONS, Robert is currently involved in International development work in a number of multi donor funded development initiatives and projects for UKaid Dfid as a Capacity Building Specialist and USAID / KEA (MODS) through Dexis consulting group as a senior HR and Organizational Development Consultant.
He is also an Independent consultant and contractor partnering with renowned consultancy firms like PWC, EY, KPMG, DEXIS, CITED and PKF in the delivery of major projects in his areas of specialisation.
